Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that his club are keen to try and sign SV Hamburg striker Ivica Olic in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old Croatia international is a free agent next summer, having moved to Germany in January 2007 from CSKA Moscow.
Olic has scored 29 goals in 74 appearances for Hamburg to date and Rummenigge believes that the lively frontman would be a big hit at the Allianz Arena.
He told Bild: "We're convinced that Ivica Olic would be the perfect foil for our forwards Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose.
"One pleasing aspect to the matter is that he's out of contract soon.
"We've said we're interested, now we'll have to see how things unfold."
