Ilicevic arrives at Hamburg as Elia heads to Juve

Croatian international midfielder Ivo Ilicevic has signed a four-year deal with Hamburg, the German Bundesliga club announced on Wednesday.

According to the German media, Hamburg will pay in the region of four million euros for the 24-year-old, who scored 10 goals in 55 matches for fellow Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern.

The arrival of Ilicevic has been matched by the departure of Dutch midfielder Eljero Elia who has signed a four-year contract with Italian Serie A side Juventus.

Elia, who left the Netherlands camp on Tuesday in order to undergo a medical, scored seven goals in 52 games for Hamburg who signed him from Twente in 2009.

Juventus will pay Hamburg nine million euros.
