Hamburg sweat on key duo

Hamburg are sweating on the fitness of a pair key players ahead of Thursday's UEFA Cup quarter-final first leg clash with Manchester City.

Paolo Guerrero (ankle) and Collin Benjamin (thigh) are both doubtful for the visit of the Premier League club to the Nordbank Arena.

"It will be a tight run thing regarding Guerrero and Benjamin," admitted coach Martin Jol.

Jol is already without Bastian Reinhardt, Thimothee Atouba, Romeo Castelen, Maxim Choupo-Moting, Guy Demel and Alex Silva through injury.

Jerome Boateng is suspended while Albert Streit and Mickael Tavares are both ineligible.
