Elia reiterates desire to stay

Hamburg star Eljero Elia has once again brushed off media reports that suggest he is on his way to Serie A side Juventus.

The 23-year-old winger, who is currently preparing for the World Cup finals in South Africa with the Netherlands, only joined the Bundesliga outfit from FC Twente last year and wants the talk to stop so that he can focus on the showpiece event this summer with his country.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "I will be playing for Hamburg next season. I am not finished at HSV by a long way.

"Being involved in the World Cup makes me the happiest person in the world. I hope that I get to play in South Africa and then I will show the world what I am capable of."
