Alex ponders Hamburg future

Brazil international defender Alex Silva has confirmed that he may consider leaving Hamburg at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old centre-back is unhappy at being utilised in a number of different positions by coach Martin Jol and is concerned that that situation is affecting his international prospects.

He told Trivela.com: "I don't like it that the coach uses me as a midfielder one week and plays me as centre-back again the following week.

"I'm a defender and I'm convinced that I'll return to the Selecao if I return to my favourite position.

"I might make the decision to leave the club this summer if my current situation doesn't change.

"Firstly though, I need to know which teams are interested in securing my services though."
