Wilder keen to keep run going

Halifax Town manager Chris Wilder has told his players to remain level-headed as he looks to keep his side in the Nationwide Conference play-offs.

The Shaymen have been one of the surprise packages so far this season and face a tough clash at Northwich Victoria on Saturday as they look to extend their victorious run to six successive games.

"It is up to me to make sure the players keep their feet on the ground," Wilder told the Halifax Courier. "But I believe we can go anywhere and get a result.

"We need to be really focussed now as we face the last third of the season in a bid to cement a play-off place - and the sooner we do that the better.

"Northwich have blown a bit hot and cold this season. But on their day I think they can beat anyone in the league.

"We have to ensure that we impose our game on them and hope they don't have one of those days where they are on fire."
