Halifax's administrator has warned that the club will cease to exist if the town does not give more backing to the Shaymen.
The Halifax Town Supporters' Trust has organised a meeting for next Tuesday (March 18) when the fans will have the club's current situation and future plans outlined, and Peter O'Hara has said that the position is critical.
"If the public of Halifax say they will not support the board or raise sufficient money then there will be no club," he told the club's official website.
The Nationwide Conference side were meant to be coming out of administration on Friday, but it now appears that he will not now be going to the court until next Wednesday.
However, the club must have sufficient funds in order to come out of administration and O'Hara has hinted that the club is still short of what is needed.
