Woods ponders McCrory bid

Grimsby Town manager Neil Woods is weighing up the pros and cons as he considers whether to bring Plymouth Argyle defender Damien McCrory back to Blundell Park on a permanent basis.

McCrory impressed during an 11-game loan spell with the Mariners earlier this season before being recalled by the Championship side.

Woods said: "Plymouth are saying that Damien is available - at the right price. Their right price and our right price aren't the same at the moment.

"The terms that the agent is asking for aren't right either, at this moment in time.

"There's a bit of work to be done there. Damien knows us and knows what we think about him. I'd love to have him available for Saturday, but there's a long way to go with that. "
