Huddersfield Town manager Andy Ritchie has made Port Vale winger Malvin Kamara his third signing of the summer.
The 23-year-old Sierra Leone international has penned a deal that will keep him at the Galpharm Stadium for the next two seasons and his capture has delighted Ritchie.
"I'm very happy that we've signed Malvin," the former Barnsley boss told the Terriers' official website.
"We've had to keep it under wraps for a few weeks due to his international commitments with Sierra Leone and my holiday, but we've got the medical done now and I'm very pleased.
"He's going to be a big asset to the club. He's very strong and he's exactly what I was looking for.
"Hopefully he'll excite the fans here. Probably the major criticism of him is that he hasn't reached the level of consistency that he should do, but he's at a good age and we'll work with him to reach that consistency."
Kamara started his career at MK Dons and made 88 appearances for the club before signing for Cardiff City last summer.
He made only three starts and 12 substitute appearances for the Bluebirds though, before signing for Vale in January. He scored once in 18 games for Martin Foyle's side.
