Grimsby Town boss Russell Slade thinks that defender Rob Jones will be handed a suspension for his red card after the final whistle of the 1-1 draw with Rushden & Diamonds.
Jones was fuming at the home side's equaliser 18 minutes from time, which the Mariners defender felt should have been disallowed for offside.
Slade told the Evening Telegraph: "Afterwards Rob indicated that he didn't think the linesman had played very well and perhaps he has got a case, though there is a time and place to vent frustration.
"I think there is a difference between what he said and what the referee thought he heard.
"Referees all stick together, so it will make life difficult appealing against the red card."
