Newell promises new faces

Grimsby Town boss Mike Newell is stepping up his search for new faces to bolster his struggling squad. The Mariners remain in relegation danger after losing 2-1 at home to Burton Albion at the weekend. Newell said: "We'll definitely have one this week, that's been agreed and hopefully two or three. "If we need to bring in new faces and better players and freshen it up then that's what we'll do. If we want to take this club away from where we are and out of this division then we need better players. "We aren't getting the results we should be and, if it means bringing in new faces, we'll do it. There's a budget and you can't go mental but investment has to happen. If you want success you have to invest."
