Grimsby Town boss Mike Newell has the luxury of being able to plan for next season after seeing his side's Football League future all but secured.
Mathematically the Mariners could still be overtaken by Chester City, but the Blues would require a 20-goal swing to escape the drop.
Newell told the Evening Telegraph: "We will start looking at things this week now we know what division we'll be playing in.
"There's not much between the teams in this division from what I've seen since I've been at the club. We've not been thumped by anybody.
"We lost early on in my time heavily at Dagenham, it was just an awful start to the season to recover from.
"Not winning a game until November meant we were always going to be up against it.
"We're not officially still up yet, but it would be impossible I would imagine for Chester to win by the margin they have to."
