Newell: No rush for new signings

The Mariners return to pre-season training on Monday to begin preparations for the opening game of the new season against Cheltenham at Whaddon Road on August 8. Newell told Town's official website: "The players are back on Monday but there is no rush to bring players in yet. "Sometimes it takes longer than you would like, but we won't be pressured into signing players that we don't really want. "Pre-season is about getting fit and I've never worried about results pre-season."
