Grimsby Town have signed Huddersfield Town forward Junior Mendes on loan until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has ended a loan stint with Northampton Town to link up with the Mariners, who are eyeing a permanent deal in the summer.
Mendes had scored four times in 18 appearances for the Cobblers, having fallen down the pecking order with the Terriers.
The one-time Chelsea trainee has also had spells with Carlisle United, Dunfermline, St Mirren and Mansfield Town during his career.
A disappointed Northampton boss Colin Calderwood told his side's official website: "We wanted to keep him until the end of the season and the last time I spoke to him he was going to go back to Huddersfield to consider his options.
"He has decided to make the move to Grimsby, so his spell with us has come to an end."
