Mariners trio agree to stay

Grimsby Town trio Ciaran Toner, Nick Hegarty and Justin Whittle have all agreed to extend their stay with the Mariners.
Toner, who has been linked him with a summer move to Notts County, is set to sign a two-year deal, while Whittle will pen a 12-month extension.
Town have also exercised an extra year's option to keep Hegarty at Blundell Park.
"The fact of the matter is that I've shaken hands on an agreement with Ciaran Toner for a new two-year contract. I'm delighted about that," boss Alan Buckley told Town's official website.
"Young Nick Hegarty, he was an option, that was quite straightforward to sort that one out. He's got lots of potential.
"I've also shaken hands on a deal with Justin on a further year contract. These players have done very, very well since I joined the club."
