Mariners take a look at Ujah

Grimsby Town manager Mike Newell has handed a trial to the former Reading defender Curtis Ujah.

The 20-year-old central defender is a free agent after being released by Yeovil Town.

Meanwhile, winger Peter Till hopes to return to training this week after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The 23-year-old said: "It's becoming a bit of a problem for me now.

"At first we thought it was a normal hamstring injury. But I've tried to come back three times now - twice in training and once for the reserves - and I've felt exactly the same again. I'm taking it slower now.

"I can't see me making Aldershot but, with so many games over Christmas, I'd like to be back for them. It's been a while since I've played and I'm itching to get back."
