Mariners seal double deal

Grimsby Town have signed defenders Richard Hope and Matt Heywood from Wrexham and Brentford respectively.
The duo have both penned two-year contracts at Blundell Park, as manager Alan Buckley begins to reshape his Mariners squad.
Heywood, 28, had been with Brentford for two seasons, having made his name in the West Country during spells with Swindon Town and Bristol City.
Thirty-year-old Hope leaves Wrexham following their relegation from the Football League, with the stopper having previously enjoyed spells with Darlington, Northampton Town, York City, Chester City and Shrewsbury Town.
Town boss Buckley has already recruited the versatile Robbie Stockdale from Tranmere Rovers this summer.
