Mariners ponder Bennett offer

Grimsby Town have confirmed that they have received an improved offer from Peterborough United for teenage defender Ryan Bennett.
The 19-year-old has already been the subject of one offer from the Posh, who are preparing for life in the Championship next season.
Mariners chairman John Fenty told the club's official website: "Although we have received a substantially improved offer from Peterborough, we are not in a position to respond until I return from a Football League meeting in Portugal.
"We will also evaluate further interest being shown by other clubs.
"I must reaffirm that the club has no desire to sell Ryan, although it is pleasing that other clubs are showing an interest in our players."
