Grimsby Town have signed teenage defender Shaleum Logan on loan from Manchester City.
The 19-year-old right-sided player will spend a month with the League Two club.
Logan has made two first-team appearances for the Citizens this season in the Carling Cup and is rated as one of the brightest prospects to have emerged from the club's academy in recent seasons.
He impressed during City's pre-season tour to Sweden and was handed a three-year first professional contract.
Meanwhile, the Mariners hope to unveil a second loan signing in the coming days with manager Alan Buckley keen to bolster his attacking options.
