Mariners let Buscher leave

Grimsby Town manager Mike Newell has admitted that he made a mistake when he offered Mickael Buscher a six-month deal with the club.
The 22-year-old French midfielder has returned to his homeland after failing to make a first-team appearance for the Mariners.
Newell said earlier in the year: "Mickael has clearly got ability but he's not showing it and not ready for the first team.
"When you sign players in his situation, it can go either way - you can make mistakes and that's just how it goes sometimes."
