Mariners left frustrated

Grimsby Town manager Graham Rodger has admitted his frustrations in the transfer market as he looks to mastermind a reversal in fortunes for the Mariners.
Ahead of the weekend trip to Peterborough, the Town boss has so far failed in a bid to bolster his under-performing squad with loan signings.
And with Phil Barnes, Paul Bolland, Peter Beagrie, Tom Newey and Justin Whittle struggling to shake off injuries, time is not on Rodger's side.
"We are in a position to bring loans in but finding players is the hard part," he admitted.
"The bigger clubs, who in the past may have loaned out young professionals, are holding on to them.
"They know now that any injuries will mean those youngsters playing a part whereas in the past, under the old transfer methods, they may have been able to go out and buy a replacement.
"It is frustrating but we will keep trying."
