Grimsby Town manager Alan Buckley has demanded more from his players after admitting to being disappointed by their display in the home defeat to MK Dons.
Sean O'Hanlon's early goal proved to be the difference between the two sides, although the Mariners came close to grabbing an equaliser in the closing stages.
Buckley was unimpressed though, saying: "It was a disappointing result. We gave them too much room and we were nowhere near our best.
"Sometimes you get beaten by a better team and they were better than us on the night.
"We didn't put them under enough pressure and they're good footballers but we still had some opportunities to get something from the game.
"They've 20 points more than us which tells you something. But we have to do better."
