Bristol Rovers midfielder James Hunt is waiting to see whether his loan stay with Grimsby Town will be extended beyond an initial month.
The 30-year-old had fallen down the pecking order with the Pirates, but has impressed in four outings for Town, scoring in the 6-0 derby thrashing of Boston United.
Hunt commented: "We've spoken a little bit, but I suppose Saturday is my last game and everything will be decided after that.
"It's been a hard time not being involved at Rovers, but coming here has been great because I'm playing regularly."
Hunt has been with Rovers since the summer of 2004, having previously had spells with Notts County, Northampton Town and Oxford United.
