Forbes wants to join Mariners

On-loan striker Adrian Forbes is desperate to join Grimsby Town on a permanent basis.
Forbes, 30, has scored three goals in 14 appearances while on loan at Blundell Park and has no desire to return to parent club Millwall.
"I have time left on my contract at Millwall at the moment and I'll be back training with them next week," he told the Grimsby Telegraph.
"If I'm brutally honest, though, that's frustrating because I don't really want to go back there.
"I will happily say that I want to stay at Grimsby Town. I am out of contract and if the manager puts an offer in front of me there's a 99.9 per cent chance I'd sign it.
"I am just hoping that we can try and get something sorted sooner rather than later because I would love that."
