Fenton: We were awful

Grimsby Town defender Nick Fenton admitted the Mariners had been awful as they slipped to a 4-0 defeat to Darlington at Blundell Park on Tuesday evening.
The result leaves Alan Buckley's side just one place above the relegation zone and they have now won only three of their 18 League Two games this term.
Former Notts County and Doncaster Rovers defender Fenton told the Evening Telegraph: "The game wasn't great. We were awful. Right from the start, we were terrible. Obviously, all the players were devastated after the match.
"We have to apologise to the fans. They've come to support us and want to get behind us, but we haven't delivered.
"We've got to expect them shouting and booing at us. They've paid their money to see us perform and we haven't."
