Bolland boost for Mariners

Grimsby Town have received a boost after receiving positive injury news regarding midfielder Paul Bolland.

Bolland was replaced early in the second half of the Mariners' 2-0 victory over Accrington on Saturday after picking up a foot injury.

But scans have revealed the problem is just minor tissue damage and he could be back in contention for Town's next league outing.

"It's a case of wait and see now. We are waiting for the bruising to come out and then we can go from there," physio Dave Moore told the club's official website.

"Hopefully he will be back in training soon and will be okay for next Tuesday's trip to Barnet."
