Beagrie jumps ship

Veteran winger Peter Beagrie looks set to hang up his boots after agreeing to terminate his contract with Grimsby.
The 40-year-old former Everton, Bradford, Manchester City and Sunderland midfielder has seen his first-team opportunities limited through injury after arriving at Blundell Park in the summer.
Beagrie could now concentrate on his burgeoning media career should he decide to retire from professional football.
A statement on the club's official website read: "In the short time Peter has been with the Mariners, he has been nothing less than a model professional on and off the pitch.
"Everybody at the club wishes Peter well for the future."
Meanwhile, the Mariners have wasted little time in bringing in a replacement after landing Nottingham Forest midfielder Kevin James on a three-month loan deal.
