The Mariners had the upper hand for much of the game but were forced to survive heavy Lincoln pressure in the final 10 minutes.[LNB]Grimsby are due to announce their new manager on Monday with Woods one of six interviewed for the post.[LNB]He said: "The players worked really hard. It was an improvement.[LNB]"I don't think the last two games have done anything to hinder my chances of getting the job. Now we will just have to see what happens.[LNB]"We're down at the bottom of the league for a reason and it was never going to be turned around very quickly but the players have worked really hard for me and I can't ask for anymore than that."[LNB][LNB]
