Woods to make bow against Bantams

The former youth-team boss has been in temporary charge since Mike Newell left over a month ago and has impressed enough to be given the post permanently.[LNB]Grimsby have lost one and drawn three of their League Two matches under Woods' stewardship, including the 0-0 draw at relegation rivals Lincoln on Saturday.[LNB]With Woods now in charge, the Mariners are hoping to bolster their squad before the loan deadline on November 26.[LNB]Nicky Featherstone and Michael Coulson joined on loan last week and should both start against the Bantams.[LNB]But Woods will still be without Rob Atkinson, who is suspended after he was sent off at Northampton.[LNB][LNB]
