Woods looks for number two
The Mariners expect to confirm the appointment of an assistant manager next week. Chris Casper left the club at the end of last season, with manager Neil Woods keen to sort out his successor well before the start of competitive games. "I'm talking to certain people about how I will want the situation to work but nothing can be confirmed until the chairman gives the go-ahead," he told the Grimsby Telegraph. "I would imagine this time next week something will come up, the situation is working well at present though."
