Henderson has kept four clean sheets in his 12 appearances since moving from Preston, helping the Mariners move from a perilous position to four points clear of the drop zone with two games remaining.[LNB]And Newell, who decided to bring in the 25-year-old at the expense of reigning player of the year Phil Barnes, has expressed his delight with the Irishman's contribution.[LNB]"We certainly knew we were getting a quality keeper in," he told the Grimsby Telegraph.[LNB]"It might not have been apparent to everybody immediately but we felt he would be a good addition.[LNB]"You don't play for your country six times unless you have ability and he's showing that for us."[LNB][LNB]
