Same again for Mariners boss

21 August 2009 16:33
The Mariners, who have lost their opening three League Two fixtures and suffered defeat at Tranmere in the Carling Cup, remain short of striking options with Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro, Adrian Forbes and Nathan Jarman still out. Akpa Akpro missed the midweek visit of Rotherham after suffering a thigh strain against Crewe. Forbes underwent knee surgery at the end of last week and is expected to be out for around a month, while Jarman will be absent for a similar length of time as he recovers from a broken bone in his foot. Veteran keeper Nick Colgan is working his way back from a thigh problem so Tommy Forecast, on loan from Southampton, will continue in goal.
