Newell staggered by Robins defeat

Super-sub Barry Hayles inspired the Robins to victory as they came from behind to claim all three points.[LNB]The 37-year-old set-up the equaliser for Lee Ridley and then slid home the winner himself after good work by David Hutton.[LNB]Grimsby went ahead after 35 minutes through Barry Conlon and Newell said: "I was amazed at the difference in the two halves, to go from that first half performance to getting out fought and out bullied was disappointing. The supporters will be going away thinking how did we lose that?[LNB]"The football that we played and the chances that we created - we just looked good all over the pitch. We created clear-cut chances. The goal we scored, although it was scrambled in, was a real good football goal.[LNB]"I know you are going to come under pressure at some points but it really didn't feel like that in the first half. The first half was exactly what we were asking for, it's just a massive disappointment to go from that to the football we played in the second half."[LNB][LNB]
