Barnet took a two-goal lead thanks to on-loan duo Yannick Bolasie and Paul Furlong, but goals from captain Ryan Bennett and Doncaster loanee Stuart Elliott put Grimsby level before half-time.[LNB]The Bees moved back in front when John O'Flynn made it 10 for the season from the spot after Joe Widdowson had brought down Albert Adomah, but Forbes ensured the game ended all square.[LNB]And Newell, who had seven of his new signings in the starting 11, was quick to credit the influence of his fresh faces. He said: "The boys have come in since I have been here and really made a difference.[LNB]"They have been prepared to work hard and get stuck in and it was exactly what we needed. We didn't get going at all at the start of the first half but I was delighted with the way that we came back.[LNB]"Adrian just typifies what the boys that have come in have brought with them. I had him at Luton when I was there and he was absolutely fantastic, you know what you're going to get with him, brilliant effort and commitment and the goal was fantastic."[LNB][LNB]
