Nathan Jarman struck twice for the Mariners after Marcus Stewart had put Exeter in front after eight minutes, before Ryan Harley levelled the scores 13 minutes from time.[LNB]Newell, who was sent to the stands by referee Stuart Attwell, said: "I'm disappointed that after getting ourselves back into the game and going in front we have thrown it away again.[LNB]"We did a lot better in the second half and put Exeter under pressure and created enough chances to have put the game beyond them. But you are always susceptible to a late goal, but the substitutions which were forced upon us did not really help us.[LNB]"I was disappointed with a lot of things in the first half, particularly the way we allowed them to play. They are a decent football side but we gave them a bit too much respect and stood off them.[LNB]"We have created chances, especially in the second half and we are disappointed we did not put the game out of their reach."[LNB]On being given his marching orders, he added: "The fourth official was not happy with my response to the linesman but he got involved when I was not even talking to him. I'm assuming it was for something I said that was out of order."[LNB][LNB]
