On-loan full-back Joe Widdowson opened the scoring with a glorious strike on his home debut and Adam Proudlock added a second from the penalty spot before Dean Sinclair wrapped up the points late on.[LNB]Newell said: "We were desperate to follow up last week's win at Wycombe with another one. It turned out that way, but 3-0 was a bit flattering. We showed a bit more quality in the second half and we scored two good goals.[LNB]"The penalty was maybe a bit of a gift. It was one of those bonuses that you don't expect to get. Adam (Proudlock) appealed for it and I'm told that their player was pulling his shirt with both hands, but it's one of those decisions you very rarely get.[LNB]"In the first half we lacked a bit of quality. We rode our luck at times, but having said that Adam has hit the post."[LNB]Sinclair and Stuart Elliott were both making their home debuts, and Newell added: "The new players have given us a lift and two wins against decent sides should give us a bit of confidence for the game on Tuesday against Dagenham."[LNB][LNB]
