Mariners suffer Proudlock blow
The striker was forced off early in the second half of the 2-1 home defeat to the Brewers on Saturday.[LNB]Mariners manager Mike Newell, who has vowed to strengthen his squad with new signings this week, said: "Prouds has an ankle ligament injury which could rule him out for four weeks, and that's a big set back for us."[LNB]Newell is confident of signing at least one player before his side host Rochdale at the weekend, but he is hoping to bring in as many as three new faces.[LNB][LNB]
