Mariners striker up for the cup
North was among the scorers on Friday to set-up a last four tie with non-league Rushden on Saturday and the frontman is now eyeing a chance of some pre-season silverware.
"We are in the semis, there is no reason why we can't look to go all the way and win some silverware early on," North told the Grimsby Telegraph.
"I think we started quite well against Yeovil and both teams passed it around a fair bit.
"We stretched them a lot and got the ball in to the strikers quickly and the hard work paid off."
