Mariners pair back from suspension

The strikers have served three-match bans following their red cards in the defeat to Aldershot at the end of last month. Another forward Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro made his return from a thigh injury as a second-half substitute in the win at Torquay last weekend. He continued to build up his match fitness with another 45 minutes for the reserves on Wednesday. Veteran Nick Colgan is challenging on-loan keeper Josh Lillis for a place in the team after recovering from a groin injury. Lillis, on loan from Championship neighbours Scunthorpe, will not be returning to Glanford Park despite Iron number one Joe Murphy suffering an arm injury in midweek that has made him a doubt for their game against Doncaster. There is a clause in the agreement that states Lillis cannot be recalled before 28 days of his loan have passed.
