Mariners clip wings of Owls
A late winner from Peter Bore gave the Mariners a win over Sheffield Wednesday in Saturday's pre-season frienldy. Luke Boden had levelled Alan Connell's opener before Bore struck a late winner. The result will give the first-team a big confidence boost as they prepare for life in non-league. On Friday night a young Mariners side were beaten 1-0 at Boston United.
