Woods was handed the Town job on a permanent basis last week after a month-long spell as caretaker boss following Mike Newell's sacking, and has wasted little time in shaking up his backroom staff.[LNB]Woods' assistant Brian Stein left the club on Tuesday and later that day former Bury boss Casper arrived as first-team coach.[LNB]"I've known Chris for a long time having worked against him as well as being a friend of his and he has been in my plans since I got the job," said Woods. "We have similar views about football but not identical ones - which is important - and I think we will work really well together.[LNB]"I've said all along I want to restructure the club and unfortunately the restructuring means that Brian has gone but I am very appreciative of his help and the work he has done.[LNB]"Chris is not an assistant manager as such as I've changed the role to a more practical, hands-on coaching post, which I know he is very good at."[LNB][LNB]
