Mariners boss swoops for Magennis
The Northern Ireland Under-21 international has arrived at Blundell Park to pep up a forward line which is currently shorn of the services of Adam Proudlock and Nathan Jarman due to injury, and Barry Conlon through suspension.[LNB]Magennis made his debut for Cardiff at the start of this season and has made a total of eight substitute appearances for the Welsh club.[LNB]He scored his first senior goal in the Carling Cup against Bristol Rovers in August and is highly rated by Cardiff after initially starting his career as a goalkeeper.[LNB]Newell is likely to hand the 19-year-old an immediate debut against Rochdale on Saturday.[LNB][LNB]
