The former Leeds custodian was signed in time to be named on the bench for Saturday's 3-0 win over promotion-chasing Gillingham and the youngster hopes it will not be long before he gets his chance. He told the Grimsby Telegraph: "It's nice to get this chance. Hopefully, Grimsby will be where it all starts for me and I can do well and impress. "It's exciting just to be back involved again. A three o'clock kick-off on a Saturday and being out there in the squad is what it's all about. "Being in that environment is what you play football for. My next target is to get back playing and playing well and hopefully doing my best for Grimsby Town. "I'm still only 20 years old and learning all the time. To train with someone like Wayne [Henderson], who has played at international level is great."
