Lillis set to start for Mariners

Goalkeeper Lillis, the son of former Scunthorpe striker Mark, joined Town on a month-long loan from the Iron on transfer deadline day.[LNB]With first-choice keeper Nick Colgan still out with a groin injury, the 22-year-old will go straight into the side after fellow loanee Tommy Forecast asked to return Southampton in light of his arrival at the club.[LNB]Barry Conlon and Adam Proudlock added to the Mariners striking woes with red cards in the home defeat to Aldershot last weekend and must now serve three-match suspensions.[LNB]Manager Mike Newell is already without forwards Nathan Jarman (foot), Adrian Forbes (knee), Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro (thigh), Peter Bore (hamstring) and Nick Hegarty (ankle).[LNB]Teenager Chris Jones and Danny North will be the only recognised strikers available to Newell at Vale Park.[LNB][LNB]
