Signed by former Mariners manager Mike Newell in the summer, the 20-year-old Welshman has struggled to make an impact at Blundell Park making just six starts in his eight appearances for the club.[LNB]"I think it's a good move for Chris. It's an opportunity for him to get games and also spend some time back at home with his family in Wales," said Town boss Neil Woods.[LNB]"To move away on your own at a young age can be a big step and I think this will be good for him.[LNB]"He's a young lad with undoubted potential but, at this moment, I can't see him breaking into the first team. So this move suits all three parties. Chris is happy with it because he just wants to be playing football."[LNB][LNB]
