Jarman targets first-team return

Jarman, who turns 23 on Saturday, has yet to play this season after breaking a bone in his foot in a pre-season friendly at Winterton Rangers. But the striker-turned-winger believes he is close to a comeback after donning his boots again for the first time this week. "It's been frustrating to be out at the start of the season but the end is in sight now," he told the Grimsby Telegraph. "The diagnosis was six weeks and that's what it's been and I've made good progress. "I've not rushed anything and, to be fair, there's been no pressure to rush back either - even with so many out."
