Grimsby out of Football League

Grimsby tumbled out of the Football League after a 3-0 loss at Burton condemned them to relegation from Coca-Cola League Two.

Champions Notts County, Rochdale and Bournemouth had already secured automatic promotion prior to the final day, while Rotherham and Aldershot's places in the play-offs were also assured.

Both Rotherham and Aldershot lost on Saturday as Morecambe won 1-0 to finish in fourth place.

The Shrimps will play seventh-placed Dagenham, who claimed a 2-0 win at already-relegated Darlington, in the play-offs, while the Millers and the Shots will meet.
