Forbes likely to miss Robins clash
The 30-year-old, who moved to Blundell Park on a free transfer this summer, has missed the Mariners' last two pre-season friendlies.
"Forbesy's knee has settled down and it looks to be a lot better. He'll still go for a scan just for peace of mind and hopefully he won't be out for too long," said Grimsby boss Mike Newell.
