Forbes admits Mariners desire

The striker is coming to the end of his loan spell from League One promotion hopefuls Millwall, but accepts that he has no future under Kenny Jackett at The Den.[LNB]And after scoring three vital goals for Grimsby in their successful battle against relegation, the 30-year-old has stated that he is desperate to stay at the club permanently.[LNB]"I have time left on my contract at Millwall at the moment and I'll be back training with them next week," he told the Grimsby Telegraph. "If I'm brutally honest, though, that's frustrating because I don't really want to go back there.[LNB]"I will happily say that I want to stay at Grimsby Town. I am out of contract and if the manager puts an offer in front of me there's a 99.9% chance I'd sign it.[LNB]"I am just hoping that we can try and get something sorted sooner rather than later because I would love that."[LNB][LNB]
