Duo on target in Daggers victory
The first half was a drab affair with Tommy Wright going close for Grimsby but his shot was blocked, while Town keeper Mark Oxley parried Marlon Pack's volley.[LNB]The Mariners have not tasted victory since September 19 and they were undone in the 49th minute when striker Josh Scott dived to head home Graeme Montgomery's inch-perfect cross.[LNB]The Daggers should have had a second but Pack's goalbound shot was blocked and Peter Gain curled the rebound over.[LNB]Grimsby rarely looked like getting back into the match, with Olly Lancashire heading their best chance over the crossbar.[LNB]Dagenham had an anxious moment as Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro saw his shot deflected wide, but the game was over when Danny Green slotted the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box with four minutes remaining.[LNB][LNB]
